Description: This is a great twisty road off of Hwy 8 in VA. (Hwy 8 is a great road, also, up to the Blue Ridge Parkway) My first impression after riding this road is that it's at least 90% as fun as the best of the much more well known roads in NC/VA/TN region and better than half of them. ie: Tail of the Dragon, The Diamond Back (226A), The Devil's Whip (NC Hwy 80S), The Snake etc.

Typical VA country scenery, nothing "Breath Taking" but it could be if you're a flat-lander on your first visit to the mountain regions. Road surface is generally 8 out of 10, low traffic, haven't seen any LEO. There are some corners that could definitely trip you up, use good judgement on blind corners until you learn the road! |
